Emery Anna is following in her brother's footsteps and playing basketball for the first time this year! Even through she is still "raw," because of all the games she has watched over the years, she is quite a natural. She understood offense and defense, and knew to try to get the rebound. She is quite a runner and hustler! It was really cute and fun to watch. My favorite part (and something that is quite different from the boys) was how she bounces on the court. She jumps up and down continually as she waits for the ball, when she is on defense, and when she is going for a rebound. I felt like she was thinking, "finally I get a chance to try this too."

Now that Si is 11, Eli 9, Emery Anna 6 and Ethan 2 1/2, it is past time to start writing about our blessed children. I am excited to chronicle our lives, little by little.
